NOW AVAILABLE! The NEW Lithium-Ion Battery offers a significant leap in technology over older battery chemistries. The Li-Ion is lighter weight (2.5 lbs. vs. 5.5 lbs.) and has a longer run time (110 min. vs. 90 min. on normal power) than the traditional MBP-1207 NiCad Battery. The new Li-Ion battery also features a five-level LED fuel gauge and a built-in charger, meaning that you no longer need an external charging unit such as the MBP-5200-M to recharge your Maxa Beam batteries.

The Li-Ion battery is compatible with all Maxa Beam searchlights. For the battery to recharge, it must be connected to a 100-240 VAC power source using the MBP-5003 AC Adapter to or an 11-29 VDC source using the MBP-5230 DC Adapter.

(Note: If you already own an MBP-5200 Series Maxa Beam Charger, the AC and/or DC adapter that plugs into your current charger can plug directly into the new Li-Ion battery for recharging; no additional adapters need to be purchased.)
